Hotel Arizona

Where we decided to stay in Tucson based on the name.

This is probably NOT the same hotel from the Wilco song. Certainly not a Chelsea or "riot house" hotel feel with the Jehovah's Witness conference going on at the hotel/conference center this weekend.

Good location, but not a thumbs up (smelly a/c, tired, etc).

Had a great time at the Frog and the Firkin just off of campus near U of A. Unfortunately, we didn't catch a glimpse of Lute Olson (a "handsome older gentleman" we're told).

Tucson somehow has a population of 600-700k. Driving around it feels more like 100k (very spread out, but still not sure where everyone is living).

Seems like a ridiculously fun place to go to college.

SPF 8 in Tombstone, AZ

Jeff, still stuck in 1985, swears by SPF 8 ("why deprive others of the seeing the perfect tan")
Jin Sun does not- SPF 30 all the time, especially in Tombstone, AZ

Jin Sun reenacts "the shootout at the OK Corral" while Jeff reenacts the lesser known, but equally significant, "shootout at the Ice Cream Store/Fudge Shop".... Word is the Weinstein brothers own the rights to this and it's in pre-production.

JSP Kicks Crap Out of Joshua Tree

Who needs climbing gear? Cap Rock = Jin Sun's bitch.

GP: RIP

We didn't have a chance to stay in room 8, but we were able to check things out at the fabled Joshua Tree Inn.
